AUTHENTIC  SELF

​

The authentic self comes from being present and listening to the sensations within the body

 

Humans can be conditioned to certain behaviour and/or exposed to negative behaviour, which will often cause the false self to emerge.  

 

The false self shows itself through behaviours and inner dialogues - it can also be called the ego.

 

False self behaviours keep a person small and prevent then from growing and expanding.  

 

Horses coaches are able to identify false self behaviours and enable clients to becomes aware of inner sensations attached to false self behaviour. Over time clients learn how to move away from these behaviours and become authentic beings 

 

DO YOU IDENTIFY WITH  FALSE BEHAVIOURS?

 

Complaining about others rather than addressing the issue

 

Being critical and judgemental of others

 

Being invisible by being quiet

 

Physically or verbally abusive when uncomfortable with a situation

 

Dissociating - drifting off when internal stimulation is to uncomfortable

 

Talking and not listening

 

Interrupting 

 

Being disruptive in groups

 

Over/under working

 

Running away from uncomfortable situations

 

Taking control

 

Being bossy and demanding

 

Saying Yes when you want to say no because you are fearful of consequences

 

Blaming others

 

Excessive use of TV and/or social media as a distraction

 

Getting overly focuses on detail and perfection

 

Being scatty and confused

 

Believing you are better than others

 

Running old tape loops that are damaging to your being

 

Being a victim, saboteur, rescuer, bully, theif

 

Rejecting others
